Birthday Luncheon at Senju Omakase

What’s your ultimate birthday celebration? When I was younger I thought it’s all about receiving presents and buying new stuff. Shallow I know. But as I got older (and probably wiser), all I wanted for my birthday just some time alone and a nice lunch/dinner with my family. So this year, I took a vacation to Bali and Singapore (will post it about here), and then had a nice luncheon with my family when I got back to Jakarta.

Senju Omakase has been around for quite some time, but I never had the chance to try it. Since my family and I have always been a fan of Japanese food I thought why not give it a try on this special occasion. Let’s scroll down to check out the foods we ordered.

Panna Cotta, IDR 35k.

The highlight was the fat Salmon Belly sashimi, the US Prime Robatayaki, the Sushi Obana Roll and the Panna Cotta as dessert. I would try more of their rolls when I came back here. Aside from Senju Omakase, there are also other Japanese restaurants that you should put on your list like: Akira Back, AB Steak, Sushi Matsu, Sushi Hiro, and Sumibi Jakarta.
